Three Dog Corner
Here sits a lady
Beloved by her family
From all around we gather
For her love, warmth and laughter
Great childhood memories abound
Summer escapes I could just monkey around
Daily trips to the lake
A Perfect blueberry pancake
Her soup and lunch spread
Eyes roll back in my head
Her life changing chili
And Meatloaf in excess
Sorry, but I digress
No other family I know, comes together like this
It is because of you, we get together and reminisce
Expressing our love a hopeless endeavor
Because it’s hard to rhyme three-dog corner
To you we attribute our family success
So writing this poem, I acquiesce
Credit to you, well-adjusted are we
Well, perhaps with the exception of Heidi
